This product is currently classified as Made in America – A guitar is comprised mostly of the body, neck, and headstock. We are working to understand if the wood used in this guitar was sourced from American lumber. If we can verify that, this product will be adjusted.
While some Fender products are manufactured outside the US, those instruments that are not will be clearly marked. Discerning guitarists swear by their American Fenders and many won’t play those made elsewhere (Mexico, Japan, etc…) as the sound is not quite the same.
Fun Fact! – Leo Fender, Fender American’s founder, never learned to play a guitar.
